Challenge
A manufacturer of A/V device came to us to make a case for their branded projector. They wanted the design to be as sleek as the product. And the case should be hard enough to protect the device from any shock and impact. Portability is a factor considering that it’s a projector that their target customers need to carry around.
Solutions
We came up with a bucket case design to make it fit the product image. To ensure that it’s hard yet portable, we used EVA as the shell material. And the case is molded to the exact shape of the device, so it fits in perfectly. Inside the case, there’s a mesh pocket, making the storage of the cable and controller easier. A strong handle on the top of the case helps to add portability.
