Challenge
A company that sells VR devices found Chimi Case to design a demo case for its sales team. The case should be hard enough to protect the equipment from any impact when the salesman is traveling. And it should be portable so he can take it anywhere conveniently.
Solutions
Considering the protection required for the sensitive equipment, we selected the hard, shockproof yet lightweight EVA as the material of the shell. And a precisely cut foam inside of the case further protects the device and its accessories by preventing them from any movement during travel. For added portability, we created a top handle and a strap outside of the case, which is convenient for traveling salesmen.
