Challenge
Our client needed to create a custom case for game enthusiasts to store and carry their devices when travel. The main challenge is that the case should be hard but lightweight. And it should be able to house all the equipment including the game console, adapter, cable, and the playing cards.
Solutions
EVA is a perfect material to create an impact-resistant yet the lightweight case, so we used it as the shell of the case. To further protect the game device, we cut a soft foam to fit inside the case. And the foam is cut to fit the shape of the equipment, yet leaving some space for easy retrieval. There are an organizer for playing cards and a mesh pocket for storing other small accessories.
